Ways To Help The Sanctuary |
Even though the sanctuary runs primarily on volunteer help - it still costs a fortune to care for these special animals. Each year we spend over $400,000 on food alone, and another $450,000 on everything from Electricity... to Propane… to Insurance… and tons of other expenses associated with running a large sanctuary like this. Caring people ask us all the time what they can do to help… and so we have provided the following links to programs that we have specially designed in order to help care for the animals. |

Since we are primarily an all-volunteer organization… it’s important that we get volunteer help on an on-going basis. Our volunteers come from all over the Front-Range, and vary in age from 16 (the minimum age allowed) to 75. Everyone here is very dedicated to the animals and the sanctuary—as it truly is a serious commitment to be a volunteer here. For more information and details on our volunteer program click here to see our main volunteer page - and to get a volunteer application. |

One of the unique ways that people can help raise funds for the sanctuary is through our Printer Cartridge Recycling Program. Everything from small ink-jet cartridges… to large laser printer cartridges… to copy machine toner cartridges can be collected. Each cartridge is worth a certain amount of money (based on many different factors) - so a recycling company gives the sanctuary the proceeds whenever they pick up cartridges you have saved. Many people would like to help the animals by making a large donation… yet sometimes they can’t afford to make a big contribution all at one time. Payroll Deduction is a great way to solve that dilemma - as you can have a small amount of money deducted from your paycheck - each pay period - so it becomes easier to afford… gives the animals a wonderful contribution at the same time! |
Since our sanctuary is a non-profit organization - we have to raise every bit of the funds that we use to operate each year. The vast majority of those funds come from caring people like you who make individual contributions on a regular basis… yet, we still have to find other ways to get the rest of the funding we need. Our on-line Gift Shop is one of the other ways people can help - so please feel free to browse the store and see if there is anything you’d like to get! GIFT SHOP |
